Adapt Laser Systems acquired; soybean farmers pessimistic on China talks

Adapt Laser Systems, based in Kansas City, has been acquired by Miami-based Boyne Capital. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Adapt is the exclusive North American distributor for German-based Clean-Lasersysteme GmbH, which is a manufacturer of laser systems used clean surfaces for production and maintenance. The laser systems are used for bonding, corrosion and surface treatment issues in industrial processes. Uses include cleaning of composite tool parts, defense and military applications, oxide removal, paint & varnish removal, weld and joining treatment, and mold cleaning. It serves customers . . .
