Atchison County to get Ameren wind plant

The Missouri Public Service Commission voted unanimously today to grant Ameren Missouri a certificate to acquire, after construction, an up to 157-megawatt wind facility to be located in Atchison County.

It is the second planned wind facility for the subsidiary of Ameren Corp. (NYSE: AEE). Ameren Missouri said in May 2018 it would build a 400-megawatt facility in Adair and Schuyler counties in northeast Missouri.
